Our automotive bays are equipped with lifts, diagnostic scan tools and training vehicles. You spend most of each week under the hood — servicing, diagnosing and repairing — rather than sitting in a lecture theatre.

Automotive Service Fundamentals

Full service routines, brakes, suspension, and workshop diagnostics on live vehicles.

  • Complete a manufacturer-style service inspection and report
  • Replace brake pads, rotors and common suspension components
  • Read and interpret OBD-II fault codes and live data
  • Work safely and cleanly in a professional service bay

Diesel Engine & Heavy Equipment Maintenance

Preventive maintenance for diesel engines, hydraulics and heavy equipment systems.

  • Carry out a scheduled preventive maintenance service on a diesel unit
  • Trace and explain a hydraulic circuit from a schematic
  • Diagnose common no-start and low-power complaints
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records

Auto Body Repair & Refinishing

Panel repair, filling, masking and spray refinishing in a dedicated booth.

  • Repair and refinish a damaged panel to a saleable standard
  • Set up and maintain a spray gun correctly
  • Match and blend colour on an adjacent panel
  • Work safely with paints, solvents and extraction systems

EV & Hybrid Vehicle Systems

High-voltage safety, battery systems and EV servicing for a fast-electrifying fleet.

  • Safely isolate and de-energise a high-voltage vehicle system
  • Explain how hybrid and battery-electric drivetrains differ
  • Interpret battery state-of-health and charging diagnostics
  • Support routine EV servicing under supervision
