Standards
How we choose instructors
Industry experience is the entry ticket, but it is not enough on its own.
- A minimum of ten years working in the trade, profession or sector they teach
- Recent, verifiable industry experience — not experience that stopped a decade ago
- A teaching or workplace-assessor qualification, or completion of our internal instructor program
- Current first aid certification and workshop-specific safety competence
- Annual observed teaching reviews and learner feedback at the end of every intake
