Student life

Student support

Twelve weeks is short. Our support is designed to remove friction quickly so nothing gets in the way of your training.

What is available

Support across the whole twelve weeks

Before you arrive

A pre-arrival pack with your timetable, accommodation address, kit list, arrival guidance and a named contact. Email questions are answered within one working day.

A named intake contact

Every intake has a member of staff responsible for it for the whole twelve weeks. You will know their name and how to reach them from day one.

Learning support

If you are finding a module hard, tell your instructor. We build extra supervised practice into the week rather than letting people fall behind quietly.

English language help

Weekly drop-in sessions focused on the vocabulary of your trade — the words you need on site, in the kitchen or in the care suite.

Wellbeing

A short intensive program in a new country is demanding. We signpost local health services, counselling and community support, and we would always rather you asked early.

After you finish

Your certificate, a summary of the competencies you demonstrated, and guidance on how your training maps to apprenticeships and further certification.

Accessibility and adjustments

If you have a disability, a health condition or a learning difference, tell us on your application or during enrolment. We will discuss what adjustments are possible in a practical workshop setting and be straight with you about anything we cannot accommodate safely.

Applications are open for October 2026
